I never before said any bad things about LV hangbags, as to me, they are all cute and chic. Here I feel very disappointed about this one – the Louis Vuitton Flight Bag Safari. Why? I love the bag body and the handles, but not the conbination of this two. Huh..others all ok, It is said that the Flight Bag Safari is named after the overland journey by tourists to Africa, and coalesces the comfort of a flight bag and the exotic spirit of the hunt. Safari is crafted from supple calfskin and perforated with the Louis Vuitton signature with gold leather backing and with Stephen Sprouse Leopard jacquard fabric made from a complex and intricate weaving technique. To add more exoticness to the bag, a python skin lining is added.Safari’s large main compartment and original detailing mean that this bag is practical and stylish. The bag also features an exterior zipped pocket with an eye-catching metal and calfskin pompon attached to the zipper pull, and an inside double flat pocket. Safari can be carried by hand or on the shoulder thanks to its soft and intricately designed chain handle.It measures 11″ x 12.6″ x 5.9″. I think it is a little weird, anyway, every one has his own tastes, maybe you think it is good!
This bag is a super choice as a spring and summer handbag, especially when we go to the supermarket, we know China now banned the use of free plastic bags, so if you take such a big and colorful hangbag, it will save you the money to buy the plastic bags. Huh…
Just a joke, now see clear above picture, this one to me two words: Simple but Useful. OK, that does’t mean it is not a beautiful one as it’s a combination of colors which will make us feel happier and more springy. Shades of pink and green come together in a bold pattern printed on canvas and accented with leather trim and a cotton voile lining. First feeling of this bag is absolutely marvellous, I love this kind of bold and modern design. It gives us some feminine glamour .Take a look at the above picture, the flower detailing on the front is actually hand stitched and painted in cotton, producing red and beige combination, which complements well to its satin front. The back is in contrasting black shade, and has silver tone trimming, which makes this clutch look really hard and sturdy. It also comes with a logo-embossed silver tone cube clip fastening, which would open to a black leather lining. You can carry this either handheld as a simple clutch, or over the shoulders with its detachable long chain handle. I have to say the florals on the clutch make it exude feminine glamour, this particular design holds modernity and sophistication that be adored by today’ ladies. It is not new for shoe designers transfer to hangbag design and do it successfully. The recent example that most of us know best is Jimmy Choo.
Today I’m not to talk about Jimmy Choo, but to introduce one successful bag designed by Christian Louboutin who also a shoe designer before. The graceful shaping with the metal plates is echoed in the pleating and stitching, giving the purse a very deliberate, contained feeling. The bag is 15″W X 12″H X 5½”, with 7″ drop double handles, and made from soft, Italian calf. There’s a surprise inside — the lining is blood red cotton! The inside also has a cell phone and zipper pocket.
Though I’m not a huge fan by any means, but it’s a lot better than a lot of what the brand puts out, I love this one, itis elegant enough for the evening, yet casual enough for daytime wear. We love the fanciful little stiletto signature charm. This bag would be great with stilettos under jeans or with a fitted dress.
Louis Vuittion presented it’s Fall/Winter 2009 Collection at Paris a month ago, and few days ago, Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2009-10 Menswear show featured bags that were new, as well as classic designs reincarnated into masculine creations Iconic bags such as the Steamer, Sac Plat and the Speedy were crafted from the classic Monogram Canvas with black leather trim, black embossed leather, and quilted Monogram similar to that of a soccer ball. A bag in Damier Graphite canvas also made an appearance, along with other shimmery monogrammed satin totes, Tadao-like canvas bags, and Monogram trunks carried in trolleys. It seems the men hadbags is ok, but on the other side, its Fall/ Winter 2009 women hangbags also shows in collection, maybe we made too great anticipation before, see its Monogram LV Studs,Monogram Pailletes and Monogram Biseta Extra, no news, big surprise, we even doubt if will be fall behind the Marc Jacob again（MJ get more trendy and sophisticated deseign in the spring summer 2009 collection）. Heft price will put a lag on Fall 2009’ sales.
