I’m a big BV fan, but today I was really depressed by BV cushion, I don’t know if you guys can accept so “creative “ things. We love the idea of multitasking but we admit we never thought that our handbag could function both as a tote and a decorative motif. But then we do love to play with pillows and it, Can luxury brands afford to make ridiculous items in this economy? And this one is not even in BV’s signature weave. Knowing BV’s soft leather, what will this thing look like when filled with blackberry, cell phone, and heavy wallet? An ice cream cone? The only good thing that I can say about it is that it would be an easily accesible bag to have on your lap whilst sitting on the train to work, or maybe at the theaterIt is just another fine example of what keeps Bottega Veneta in business, it is understated chic that is 100% luxury. You can throw your entire life in this and still maintain composure in style. The slouch makes it effortless and the subtle woven details makes a quiet statement. As with all of BV’s misses from 2008, this is another bag that makes you wonder why has BV gotten so adventurous in the last 12 months that it is bordering on ridiculous!

I must admit I have been addicted by MJ bags. Today I shopped my best love in MJ counter, that is the Marc By Marc Jacobs Women’s Classic Q City Bag. It is really a bag for all of us.
This double strapped bag comes in at 12.5″W x 15″H x 2.75″D, and has a detachable strap which allows you to throw in your portfolio and sling it over your shoulder like any tote bag. But this is not any tote bag. This is a soft, “Electric Violet” pebble leather Marc by Marc Jacobs masterpiece. I especially love the elegant gather at the center of the bag, and the complementary geometric shapes and the base of the straps. There are concealed magnetic snaps for closure, as well as an inside zipper and cell phone pocket. The price is $428, a little expensive, but truely worth of it.

Breaking news reported that Marc Jacobs and his ad executive boyfriend, Lorenzo Martone, are engaged. The two have been dating for about a year. The duo is said to go public with their engagement news on Thursday when they arrive in Brazil wearing rings. No information on a wedding date yet.
WWD reports that they are now headed to Martone’s homeland of Brazil to celebrate the designer’s multi-brand store, which opened in January. “We experienced a really great vacation in St. Barth’s recently,” Martone went on. “It was during the winter in December. It was super warm, people were relaxed, tanned, and we were having an amazing time with our friends. So why not? Maybe a New Year’s Eve wedding in St. Barth’s would be really fun.”
