Reviewed the Spring 2009 Handbag collection, I want to say something, it is really very gorgeous, perfectly constructed, very desirable and sophisticated.Nothing outrageous or impractical, all is still very wearable.
The runway show theme was the wild west, and it was displayed in the clothes, handbags and shoes. We saw slim crocodile envelope clutches, handheld canvas-and-leather suitcases, and (whoa, ladies!) even a fringed Birkin.
I have to say, I thought we were done with the fringe, but Hermes designer Jean Paul Gaultier made it bearable. While he got a little crazy with the fringed Birkin, he stayed true to the classic labels image with the crocodile and snakeskin Birkins. Overall, the collection was classy and beautiful, we are look forward of these new ones coming.
